Antonio Adamo, born July 30, 1957, in Naples, Italy, is an acclaimed Italian adult film director and occasional performer. He began directing in 1998, gaining fame with Private Media Group's high-budget productions. His breakthrough was the 'Private Gladiator' trilogy (2002), a porn parody of the epic film, which won him the 2003 AVN Award for Best Director, Foreign Release.

Other notable works include the 'Cleopatra' series (2003), 'Roma' trilogy, 'China Box' (2002), 'Sex Rebels' (2005), and 'Call Girl' (2000).
