Nikki Benz, born Alla Montchak on December 11, 1981, in Mariupol, Ukraine (then part of the Soviet Union), relocated to Toronto, Canada, with her family when she was seven years old. Growing up in the Etobicoke neighborhood, she pursued modeling, becoming a swimsuit and calendar model, and later worked as an exotic dancer. In 2003, at age 21, she entered the adult entertainment industry after contacting director Jim Gunn, debuting in the film "Strap-On Sally 20" and quickly signing an exclusive contract with Pleasure Productions. Her career flourished with stints at Jill Kelly Productions (2004) and TeraVision (2005). Benz gained mainstream recognition as Penthouse Pet of the Month for April 2010 and was honored as the 2011 Penthouse Pet of the Year. She attained U.S. citizenship in February 2013. Notable achievements include co-hosting the 2010 XRCO Awards with Lisa Ann, starring in the "Saints Row: The Third – Penthouse Pack" DLC (2012), and a cameo appearance in Michael Bay's "Pain & Gain" (2013). In 2015, she won XBIZ Crossover Star of the Year and was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame in 2016. Benz served as the first brand ambassador for Brazzers in 2016, though she later filed a lawsuit against the company alleging assault. Politically active in jest, she announced a run for mayor of Toronto in 2014, promising progressive policies, but was disqualified. Benz has appeared in numerous adult films and remains influential in the industry.
