Ronda Jean Rousey, born February 1, 1987, in Riverside, California, is an American mixed martial artist, actress, and semi-retired professional wrestler. She began as a judoka, winning bronze at the 2008 Olympics, World Championships (2007), and multiple Pan American titles. Transitioning to MMA in 2010, she became Strikeforce's last Women's Bantamweight Champion and UFC's inaugural Women's Bantamweight Champion, holding the title with six defenses, including records for most armbar finishes (9) and fastest title wins (e.g., 14 seconds vs. Zingano). She retired from MMA in 2016, inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame in 2018.
