Christopher Daniel Zeischegg, born October 21, 1985, in Alameda County, California, performed as Danny Wylde in straight, gay, and bisexual adult films starting at age 19. He won a 2012 AVN Award for Best Group Sex Scene in Tristan Taormino’s Rough Sex 3 and earned nominations in 2011–2013 for group and three-way scenes. Wylde advocated for performers by opposing Los Angeles County’s Measure B condom mandate, debating it publicly in 2013.
He contributed to The Feminist Porn Book and uploaded a realistic sex film with Lily LaBeau to MakeLoveNotPorn, appearing on The Jeff Probst Show to discuss it. After retiring, he faced erectile dysfunction and drug challenges, as detailed in a 2017 Forbes article. Now a writer, musician, and filmmaker, Wylde has published novels (Come to My Brother, 2013; The Wolves That Live in Skin and Space, 2015; The Magician, 2020) and a writing collection (Body to Job, 2018).
He fronts the synthetic metal band Chiildren, releasing an EP (The Other People) and music videos. Married to photographer Maggie West, he directs festival-screened films like Nuclear and The Extraordinary Monday of Herman Brumby.
