Alexandra Silk, born Tamar Janine Reilly on September 19, 1963, in Long Island, New York, is an acclaimed American pornographic actress, director, producer, and activist. Graduating from the State University of New York at Albany, she began her adult career as a stripper in Las Vegas, where she met Jenna Jameson, who inspired her entry into porn. Introduced to the industry by Ron Jeremy in Hollywood, Silk debuted in 1996 at age 33.
