Bobby Vitale, born Gerald R. Forde on June 30, 1965, in Santa Monica, California, was an American pornographic actor of Mexican and Irish descent, also known as Jerry Forde. Standing 5 ft 7 in tall, he entered the adult film industry in 1995, starring in over 418 titles and directing two films himself.
His accolades include the 2000 XRCO Award for Male Performer of the Year and the 2001 AVN Award for Best Couples Sex Scene in 'Facade' opposite Sydnee Steele. Vitale married performer Nikki Tyler from 1996 to 1999, with whom he shared scenes, and was engaged to Briana Banks from 2003 to 2006. In 2004, a devastating car accident left him with a smashed pelvis, crushed urethra, temporary wheelchair use, and a colostomy bag.
Retiring in the mid-2000s, he operated a body shop in Southern California and attempted a 2011 comeback that never happened. He died on August 29, 2017, in Los Angeles at age 52.
