Asia Carrera, born Jessica Steinhauser on August 6, 1973, in New York City, is an American attorney and former adult film actress of German and Japanese heritage. Raised in Little Silver, New Jersey, she started her porn career in 1993 and starred in over 350 films. She became the first Asian performer to win AVN Female Performer of the Year in 1995 and was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame in 2001. Carrera retired in 2003 following her marriage to Don Lemmon.
She later earned a BS in psychology, an MSEd, and a JD, passing the Texas bar exam in 2026. A Mensa member with an IQ of 156, she identifies as an atheist and has discussed her experiences with autism, ADHD, and anxiety. She has three children and lives in the United States.
