Sasha Gabor, born Sámuel Guttmann on June 6, 1945, in Hungary, was a prominent Hungarian-Norwegian pornographic actor and director. Fleeing the aftermath of the 1956 Hungarian Revolution as a child refugee, he relocated to Lillestrøm, Norway, in 1957 with his family. He later moved to the United States, where he pursued varied careers including commercial pilot, writer, circus musician, soldier, and celebrity look-alike for stars like Burt Reynolds and Sean Connery. Entering the adult film industry around 1983 at age 38, Gabor starred in over 500 films through the 1980s and 1990s, often in parody roles capitalizing on his striking resemblance to Hollywood actors.
He became known as Norway's most famous porn performer, also directing films and advocating for professional Norwegian adult productions. A multilingual polyglot fluent in eight languages who played the accordion, the thrice-married Gabor was described as a charismatic womanizer and close friend of Ron Jeremy. He retired in his sixties and died of heart complications on June 27, 2008, in Bangkok, Thailand, at age 63.
