Ginger Lynn Allen was born on December 14, 1962, in Rockford, Illinois. She entered the adult industry in 1983 after moving to California, starting as a nude model and debuting in hardcore films like Surrender in Paradise (1984). Her peak career in the 1980s made her a top star, earning AVN's Best New Starlet (1985), Best Actress for Project: Ginger (1986), and hall of fame inductions into AVN, XRCO, NightMoves, and Urban X.
