Brandon Iron was a Canadian adult film performer and director born on July 14 1968 in Alberta. He began his career in the pornography industry around 1991 and quickly rose to prominence through his innovative gonzo style productions. Iron is best remembered for creating and starring in the Slap Happy series which featured extreme boundary pushing content that influenced many subsequent adult films in the early 2000s. Throughout his career he amassed an impressive portfolio with over twelve hundred appearances as a performer and directed more than one hundred twenty films. Known by several aliases including Brandon Irons Brandon Fron and Alek James Hidell he was recognized for his dedication and contributions earning induction into the AVN Hall of Fame. Iron lived and worked primarily in California later in his life. Sadly he passed away by suicide in Ireland in 2019 at the age of fifty one. His legacy continues to be discussed in adult entertainment history.
