Linda Wong, born Linda Carol Seki on September 13, 1951, in San Francisco, California, was one of the first Asian American stars in the U. S. adult film industry.
A former high school homecoming queen, she earned a degree in dance and worked as a professional ballerina. Briefly married to an attorney, Wong transitioned into nude modeling for magazines like Hustler before debuting in hardcore pornography in 1976 with films such as Oriental Babysitter and The Jade Pussycat, featuring co-stars Georgina Spelvin and John Holmes. Under aliases like Sandy Stram, Linda Chang, and masseuse persona Linda Ching in Las Vegas, she starred in notable titles including China Lust (1976), China DeSade (1977), Baby Face (1977), Stormy (1980), and Swedish Erotica 10 (1981).
Retiring in 1981, she returned briefly in 1985 for The Erotic World of Linda Wong. Tragically, on December 17, 1987, at age 36, she died of a drug overdose in Petaluma, California, shortly before a planned comeback. Posthumously, she was inducted into the XRCO Hall of Fame in 1999 and ranked #25 on Complex magazine's list of the 50 hottest Asian porn stars in 2011.
