Necar Zadegan is a talented American actress of Iranian heritage, born on June 20, 1982, in Heidelberg, Germany, and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. She graduated with honors from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a BA in Literature, and studied abroad at the Sorbonne in Paris. Fluent in Persian, French, English, and German, Zadegan began her acting career in 2005 with guest roles on television series such as The Bernie Mac Show, Nip/Tuck, and NCIS. Her Broadway debut came in 2011 alongside Robin Williams in the Pulitzer Prize-nominated play Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo.
She rose to prominence portraying First Lady Dalia Hassan in the final season of 24, Delia Banai in Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce (2014-2018), and Special Agent Hannah Khoury in NCIS: New Orleans (2018-2021). Film credits include Unthinkable, the indie hit Elena Undone, Masters of Sex, and The Good Doctor. Zadegan has also voiced characters in video games like Horizon Zero Dawn and currently stars as Deputy Chief of Station Nikki Reynard in the Paramount+ series CIA.
