Robert Charles Kerman (December 16, 1947 – December 27, 2018), professionally known as R. Bolla, was an American adult film actor and mainstream performer during the 1970s and 1980s. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he studied drama at Brooklyn College before entering the porn industry. Under the pseudonym R. Bolla, he appeared in over 100 X-rated films, including classics like 'Debbie Does Dallas' (1978) as Mr. Bradshaw, 'Every Man’s Fantasy,' and 'Swedish Erotica' series. His rugged good looks and versatile performances earned him popularity. Kerman also starred in Italian exploitation cinema as Robert Harper, most famously leading Ruggero Deodato's infamous 'Cannibal Holocaust' (1980). Later, he transitioned to legitimate theater, TV commercials, and voice work, leaving porn behind. He died in New York City from diabetes complications at age 71.
