Her parents divorced when she was two, leading to an unstable upbringing marked by time in Texas, Oxnard, and Mission Viejo, where she was a high school cheerleader. She reported childhood sexual abuse. Introduced to the industry by Rex Cabo, she debuted in 1990 with magazine spreads before signing an exclusive Vivid contract in 1991.
