Seymore Butts, born Adam Glasser on March 18, 1964, in the Bronx, New York, is an American adult film director, producer, and occasional performer. Raised in a Jewish family, he entered the industry in the late 1980s, initially appearing in supporting roles before adopting his memorable stage name, a pun on "see more butts." In the early 1990s, he founded Seymore, Inc.
and began producing his signature gonzo-style videos, emphasizing raw, reality-based content often centered on anal themes. His "Seymore Butts Home Movies" series earned consecutive AVN Awards for Best Gonzo Series in 1999 and 2000. Butts gained mainstream attention through the Showtime reality series "Family Business," which depicted his life running a porn production company alongside family members.
