Shelley Lubben (May 18, 1968 – February 9, 2019) was an American former pornographic actress, author, singer, and anti-pornography activist. Born in Pasadena, California, she suffered childhood sexual abuse by siblings at age nine. Entering prostitution at 18, she worked until 26, contracting STDs like herpes and HPV, and developing cervical cancer that necessitated partial cervix removal. At 24, she starred in about 15 adult films (1993-1994) as Roxy or Shelley Lynn Moore, including titles like 'Bra Busters 2.' A single mother after conceiving a daughter with a client, she battled severe alcohol and drug addictions.
A profound conversion to Christianity led her to exit the industry. Ordained as a chaplain, she founded the Pink Cross Foundation in 2008 to minister to porn performers, offering support, evangelism, and recovery aid. Lubben authored 'Truth Behind the Fantasy of Porn' (2010), released hip-hop album 'Killer Fantasy' (2011), testified to U.S. Congress (2010), spoke at Cambridge University, and appeared in documentaries such as 'After Porn Ends.' Pink Cross closed in 2015.
