Angela White was born in 1984 or 1985 in Australia. She graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2010 with a first-class honours degree in gender studies, researching women's experiences in the Australian pornography industry; her honours thesis, "The Porn Performer: The Radical Potential of Pleasure in Pornography," was published in *The Routledge Companion to Media, Sex and Sexuality* in 2017. She began her career in 2003 while still in high school, shooting her first scene shortly after turning 18; her debut hardcore film was released in 2011. White has directed and starred in series like *Angela Loves Women* and *Angela Loves Anal*, launching her site angelawhite.com in 2013, signing with Girlfriends Films in 2014, becoming a Fleshlight Girl, and moving to the US in 2016 to work with Brazzers (exclusive contract in 2021). Achievements include induction into the AVN Hall of Fame (2018) and XRCO Hall of Fame, and winning AVN Female Performer of the Year three consecutive years (2018–2020), the first to do so. She has over 112 award wins from 173 nominations across AVN, XRCO, XBIZ, and others, and continues active as a performer, director, and webcam model.
