Rocco Siffredi, born Rocco Antonio Tano on May 4, 1964, in Ortona, Italy (IT), grew up discovering pornography as a teenager, inspiring his career. He moved to Paris in his early twenties, attending sex clubs where he was discovered by director Gabriel Pontello, debuting in the 1986 film Sodopunition pour dépravées sexuelles. Known for his rough style involving anal sex, spitting, slapping, and choking, he adopted the stage name inspired by Alain Delon characters. After a brief fashion modeling stint in the late 1980s, he returned with help from Teresa Orlowski, collaborating with Evil Angel and founding his Budapest-based Rocco Siffredi Produzioni. He starred in over 1,300 films, earning nicknames like Italian Stallion.
