Tina Tyler (born July 16, 1965, on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada) was a prolific Canadian adult film actress, director, and former publicity director for Sin City Films. She crafted her stage name from actress Tina Louise and Aerosmith's Steven Tyler. Growing up partly in Germany, she was a shy bookworm who became a stripper at 19 and feature dancer for eight years before debuting in porn in September 1992 with Sean Michaels and Jake Steed.
Known as the 'thinking man's porn star,' she appeared in over 200 films spanning genres like lesbian, bisexual, and MILF, and directed more than 30 titles, including the 'Tina Tyler's Favorites' series. Married to Tony Tedeschi (1993-1994), she won an AVN Award for Best Non-Sex Performance in 'The Ozporns' (2003) and received nominations for all-girl scenes. She guested on TV shows like '21 Jump Street.' In 2009, after returning for MILF roles, she moved to Canada for cancer treatment, expecting a comeback.
