Tori Welles, born Brittania Carroll Paris Apstein on June 17, 1967, in San Fernando Valley, California, is a retired American pornographic actress and director. Of Spanish, French, Norwegian, and English descent, she entered the adult industry in 1988 at age 21, quickly rising to fame as a Vivid Entertainment contract star. She performed in over 100 films until 1999, spanning heterosexual, lesbian, and fetish genres, and directed four movies in the early 1990s. Notable titles include 'Chameleon' (1989), 'Miss Directed' (1990), and 'The Private Diary of Tori Welles' (1997), a post-divorce video with ex-husband Paul Norman.
