Cathy Stewart, born Catherine Patricia Greiner on April 2, 1956, in Royan, France, was a prominent French pornographic actress. Active primarily from 1978 to 1986, she starred in over 96 hardcore films, featuring in the majority of France's adult productions during the late 1970s and early 1980s. Renowned for her work with Alpha France, notable titles include 'Petites filles' (1978), 'Open Nightly' (1980), and 'Bourgeoises défoncées' (1985).
She also ventured into mainstream cinema, appearing in Jean Rollin's horror film 'La Nuit des Traquées' (1980) as Catherine Greiner, and some U. S. releases via Caballero Home Video.
Despite her success, Stewart retired in the mid-1980s amid struggles with drug addiction. Tragically, she died of an overdose on August 9, 1994, in Breuillet, Charente-Maritime, France, at age 38.
