Axel Braun, born September 22, 1966, in Milan, Italy, is an acclaimed Italian-American adult film director and producer, renowned for his pornographic parodies. The son of pioneering adult filmmaker Lasse Braun, Axel attended Columbia College Hollywood and directed over 500 films since 1990. He gained fame with blockbusters like Batman XXX: A Porn Parody, the best-selling adult title of 2010, and led Vivid's superhero parody line.
In 2013, he joined Wicked Pictures, launching Wicked Fairy Tales and Wicked Comix series. Braun's accolades include AVN Hall of Fame (2011), XRCO Hall of Fame (2014), ten straight AVN Best Parody wins (2011-2020), four AVN Director of the Year awards, and multiple AVN Movie of the Year honors.
