Julia Ann, born October 8, 1969, in Glendale, California, grew up around animals, developing a love for horses, taking piano lessons, and learning to swim proficiently. At age 12, she moved to Idyllwild, California, attending a college-prep school, then returned to Los Angeles at 17 to live with her grandmother. At 18, she hired a photographer for nude photos and worked as a professional mud wrestler in Hollywood. In the early 1990s, she formed the touring strip club feature act Blondage with Janine Lindemulder, leading to a Carnal Comics issue and entry into the adult film industry. She performed for Vivid Video in the 1990s and was under contract with Wicked Pictures in 2006, but did not renew in 2007.
