Kay Parker, born Kay Taylor Parker on August 28, 1944, in Birmingham, England, was a prominent British-born American pornographic actress during the golden age of adult cinema. She emigrated to the United States at age 21 and initially worked in banking before entering the adult film industry in the late 1970s, introduced by actor John Leslie. Parker gained fame for her role as the mother in the controversial incest-themed film Taboo (1980) and its sequel, appearing in over 60 adult films often portraying sophisticated, mature characters. Her notable works include V: The Hot One, Dracula Sucks, and Firestorm.
She received the AFAA Best Supporting Actress award in 1983 and was inducted into the AVN and XRCO Halls of Fame. After retiring from performing in 1998, Parker became a metaphysical counselor and author, writing Taboo: Sacred, Don't Touch about her life and experiences. She passed away on October 14, 2022, in Los Angeles at age 78.
