Luce Caponegro, better known by her stage name Selen, was born on December 17, 1966, in Rome, Italy. Daughter of a petroleum industrialist, she studied singing, dance, and horse riding in her youth. Married at 18, she lived in a commune until age 20, when she entered the adult film industry with 'Orgia di natale' in 1986, directed by Cesare Geromini.
Her major breakthrough arrived in 1993 with 'Signore Scandalose di Provincia' by Alex Perry, cementing her as Italy's premier porn star.
