Aramis Sartorio, known as Tommy Pistol, was born on July 2, 1976, in Queens, New York. He began his career in Queens as a stage actor with the sketch comedy group Cheese Theater for over a decade and appeared in short and feature films. He was also a singer for the metalcore band AmoreA and played bass and rapped in the NYC punk band Flemm. Pistol entered the adult industry in late 2005 after meeting Joanna Angel, founder of Burning Angel, becoming the first male performer on BurningAngel.com. His stage name was chosen by Angel. He quickly expanded to studios like Bang Bros, Facial Abuse, Latina Abuse, VCA, and Vivid. He wrote, directed, and starred in the 2010 independent horror-comedy film *The Gruesome Death of Tommy Pistol*, performing as DJ Tommy Pistol on its soundtrack. In 2013, he directed the feature horror-porn *Beyond Fucked: A Zombie Odyssey*. In 2014, he won an AVN Best Actor Award for his role as Ash Williams in Burning Angel's *Evil Head*, a porn parody of the *Evil Dead* franchise. He starred as The Joker in Axel Braun's *Suicide Squad: An Axel Braun Parody* and won another AVN Best Actor Award in 2018 for *Ingenue*. Since 2016, he has participated in the annual WIH Massive Blood Drive PSA, a collaboration between Women in Horror Month and Twisted Twin Productions. He gained mainstream recognition for his minor role as "The Cook" in Brazzers' *Tatas Under Siege: An XXX Parody*, which went viral on Twitter. He has been featured on BuzzFeed, Uproxx, and Elle.com after a tweet mocking Donald Trump was liked by Ivanka Trump. In September 2022, the Soska Sisters announced the premiere of their new film *On the Edge*, co-starring Pistol, at the London FrightFest Halloween festival on October 29. The film was shot and produced in Canada and also co-stars Jen Soska, Sylvia Soska, and Mackenzie Gray. Pistol was married to Gia Paloma from 2007 until their divorce in 2013.
