Dorothea Ivonniea Hundley, professionally known as Seka, was born on April 15, 1954, in Radford, Virginia, USA. Raised in a typical family with a brother and sister, she enjoyed a normal childhood before her family moved to Hopewell, Virginia. There, nicknamed 'Dottie,' she won beauty pageants, including Miss Southside Virginia. At 18, she married Francis Patton, but divorced by 1977. She worked at Reynolds Metals producing aluminum foil and later as a clerk and manager at adult bookstores.
In the late 1970s, Seka entered the adult film industry after moving to Las Vegas for modeling and then Los Angeles. Debuting in 1978's 'Teenage Desires,' she became the iconic 'Platinum Princess of Porn' in the 1980s, starring in over 100 films like 'Inside Seka' (1980), 'Blond Heat' (1985), and 'Prisoner of Paradise' (1980). Praised for her acting, she appeared on Saturday Night Live and dated Sam Kinison.
Retiring from performing in 1992 due to AIDS concerns, she modeled for Club, hosted radio shows like 'Let's Talk About Sex,' and released her autobiography 'Inside Seka' in 2013. Honored with AVN and XRCO Hall of Fame inductions, she now runs her fan club from Kansas City.
