A Caucasian male with blond hair and blue eyes, he performed under numerous aliases including Cal Mason, Carl Hall, Ed Stark, Eric Hansen, Jess Mann, Jesse Apple, Jessie Adams, Jessie St. James, Jim Elliot, Johnny Harden, Lars De Leuw, Mark Cooper, and Norman Mince. Adams appeared in hundreds of films across genres, working with major studios like VCX, VCA, and Blue Vanities.

He also directed films between 1986 and 1988. His enduring contributions to the industry were recognized with a 1989 XRCO Award nomination for Hall of Fame: Film Pioneers. Adams passed away on November 11, 2024, in Los Angeles, California, leaving a lasting legacy in adult entertainment.
