Jon Martin, born Gerald Michael Heath on October 24, 1947, in San Francisco, California, is a pioneering American adult film actor of the Golden Age. A native of the city, he trained in acting under renowned instructors Uta Hagen and Stella Adler in New York before returning home to enter the industry. He began with loops for the Mitchell Brothers and made his feature debut in the classic Behind the Green Door in 1972. Over nearly four decades until around 2009, Martin appeared in hundreds of films, collaborating with directors including Anthony Spinelli, Alex de Renzy, and Bob Chinn.
