Abigail Clayton, born Gail Ann Lawrence on November 28, 1948, in New York City, was an iconic American pornographic actress of the Golden Age of Porn, active from 1975 to 1980. Graduating from Huntington High School and Stony Brook University with a Fine Arts degree, she relocated to San Francisco, initially working in adult film production before transitioning to on-screen roles. She debuted with nude modeling in Hustler and Swank, then starred in acclaimed films like 'Femmes de Sade' (1975), 'Desires Within Young Girls' (1977), 'Sex World' (1977), '7 Into Snowy' (1977 parody of Snow White), and 'October Silk' (1980).
Clayton also ventured into mainstream cinema, appearing in 'Bye Bye Monkey' (1978) with Gérard Depardieu and 'Maniac' (1980). Nominated for a 1979 AFAA Best Actress award for 'Health Spa', she earned XRCO Hall of Fame induction in 2008.
