Annette Haven, born Annette Robinson on December 1, 1954, in Las Vegas, Nevada, was raised in a sexually conservative Mormon family. Following the dissolution of her first marriage, she moved to San Francisco, the epicenter of the Golden Age of Porn, where she began stripping and performing in erotic shows. Introduced by early star Bonnie Holiday—with whom she shared a three-year polyamorous relationship—Haven debuted in 1973's 'Lady Freaks.'
